Science

At the Peak Federation, we strive to provide children with a rich and engaging science curriculum. We have developed a tailored two-year rolling cycle, which has been prepared with the guidance of consultant-led CPD support. We have invested strongly in the CPD of science leaders and teachers to ensure that all learners are engaged in hands on, progressive and adapted science lessons.

Both schools have been awarded Primary Science Quality Marks. Since 2025, the Federation has been part of the Ogden Trust; a partnership that provides strong ongoing Physics focused CPD and development of the science teaching that we provide our children.

As of April 2026, both schools have been awarded Local Schools Nature Grants. These Grants will support us in our mission to improve and maintain the quality of our outdoor areas and learning opportunities.
